FAC FAQ

Here are the most commonly asked questions!

  1. What roles do you have for your team?

    • Hosts

    • Multi Fighters

    • Mods

    • Fright Warriors

  2. What does being a Host entail?

    • Hosts are the faces you see on our Twitch channel! They get set up with all of the overlays needed to live stream on Twitch, including a special stream key! With that they can play any horror game (as long as it isn't repeated during the event). We add their face in the panels, and their name/logo goes on our yearly Limited Edition Shirts!

  3. What does being a Mod entail?

    • Mods are team members that keep our community safe! They mod just the Twitch Channel, help with commands, and help make decisions to make FAC even better & safer!

  4. What does being a Fright Warrior entail?

    • Fright Warriors are our big supports who don't want to be involved in the gaming portion, and don't want to stress about modding during lives. They get to include their input from a viewer perspective to help us grow, they get details at the same time as the rest of the team to share with their communities! Their support but sharing what we are doing is a big help!

  5. What does being a Multi Fighter mean?

    • Multi Fighters are people that wanted to join in on the gaming, but didn't want to have their faces on the screen! They join in multiplayer game nights, and can join facing the Hosts in our Tournament! They are also free to co-stream on their own channels.

  6. Why create a separate Twitch Channel?

    • We wanted to have multiple ways for people to help donate. Some people feel more comfortable donating on some sights over others.

    • When doing charity streams some viewers will subscribe or donate bits thinking it'll go to the charity when it goes to the streamer. This removes the confusion.

    • Twitch allows others to stream to your own channel by making temporary stream keys. This makes having many people host easier. It also helps blend different communities together for one cause!

    • Gothipire has big dreams to have enough people to be live almost every moment of October, and all of the other events. She'd like to be able to co-stream or even stream into the channel on an off night!

  7.  How can I get involved?

    1. It is super easy! We have an application to help see what you are interested in doing (you can claim multiple roles), and see where you are in your stream journey to see if you need a lil extra help! Click Apply for the application!

  8. How active do I need to be to be on the team?

    • We ask that during an event you check the server for details such as if you need to send the Fright Generals anything. We aim to keep the server used only when needed. So usually a month or two before an event, and during is when you need to check.

    • Hosts need to do a few extra steps to set up before their first live. They do not need to host at every event. They will need to indicate what days they want to host, the game, or if you don't know a day due to work at least say how many days you want to host for planning.

    • Mods need to check the server in case someone needs help, or a mod is needed.

    • Multi Fighters will need to check when the schedule is out so they can say what games they are able to join in.

    • Fright Warriors can check Discord for polls to give their opinion. There's an announcement channel they can follow in their discord.

  9. What is the Limited Edition T-Shirt?

    • In October we have the wonderful OfficerBaeJ designs the front off our T-shirt. The back lists the hosts that go live during the event, and other people that helped a lot during the event (space pending). This shirt gets sold during the event and then it is no longer for sale! You can see previous shirts here!

  10. Who are the Fright Generals?

    • They are our "Board" they help make final decisions, if there are issues with members they decide what happens. Gothipire didn't want to be the only one making the major decisions so she picked trusted people to help build the community fairly.
